The top of DIB's plain range and free of an annual fee: 3.0 Wala'a Rewards a dirham at home, 3.5 on anything bought in another currency, and 0.2 on supermarkets, telecoms, education, petrol, government and utilities, takaful, car dealers, transport and real estate — between a third and a fifteenth of the general rate depending on which Prime card you hold. One exclusion is easy to walk into and DIB states it plainly: retail spending originating in European Union countries earns nothing at all, withdrawn on 1 December 2019. Utility and government bills paid through DIB's own platforms earn nothing at all, and nor do foreign currency, money orders, deposits, cryptocurrency, prepaid cards, wire transfers or charity.
