FAB Cashback Islamic cashback rate, cap and annual fee

FAB Cashback Islamic pays 5% on groceries — on the first AED 3,000 you spend on it each month, which is where the AED 150 cap stops it. Nothing at all below AED 3,000 of spending a month — AED 36,000 across a year. The card costs AED 315 a year.

This is information about each card's published terms, not a recommendation to apply. PayperWIZ arranges no credit and is paid nothing by any bank or card issuer.

Pays nothing in a month that follows one with less than AED 3,000 of spending, the same previous-month condition as the conventional FAB Cashback. Then 5% at supermarkets, fuel stations and restaurants in dirhams, 3% on foreign currency, 1% on other spending, 0.15% on the selected list. Resolved, lower reading: the card page says AED 300 a category for UAE nationals and AED 200 for expats in one paragraph and AED 200 and AED 150 in its own table, which the terms repeat; the expat AED 150 a category and AED 1,000 a month for the card are recorded (UAE nationals get AED 200 and AED 1,500). The selected list includes airlines and travel agencies, so a flight paid in dirhams earns 0.15%. Fixed: the entry said Visa; FAB's terms classify spending by Mastercard's merchant codes and the page offers World Mastercard benefits. AED 300 a year plus VAT. International transaction fee 2.61% plus 1.15%.
