Ten Mashreq Vantage points a dirham on supermarkets, fuel and dining, which at Mashreq's own cashback rate of 380 points to the dirham is about 2.6% — the strongest everyday rate in this library that is paid in a currency you can turn straight back into money. Two points on everything else, local or international, and half a point on government payments, utilities, education, charity, rent and telecoms. No points at all on utility bills paid through the Mashreq app or online banking; the same bill paid at the provider earns the reduced rate. Mashreq prices the points in the same document: 380 to the dirham as cashback in the app, 303 for an Amazon.ae gift card or at a Mashreq terminal, 288 for a noon gift card. Everything below is measured at the cashback rate, because that is the route with nothing attached to it. The airline conversions are far worse and are not what this values — 32 points for one Skywards Mile, 22 for an Etihad Guest Mile, 17 for an Avios.
