Two things were wrong here, both from a comparison site. There is no Doha Bank "Visa Signature Cashback": every personal credit card Doha Bank lists is a Mastercard except one Visa Infinite, and the cashback card is the Cashback Mastercard World. And the 10% is the top of a tier ladder, not a rate — Doha Bank pays 3% from QR 2,500 of monthly spend, 5% from QR 7,500 and 10% only from QR 15,000, with the category ceiling moving between QR 100 and QR 400 a month as you climb. The 3% tier is modelled below at the lowest published ceiling, because that is what a household spending an ordinary amount actually earns. Digital entertainment and cinema really do pay 50%, capped at QR 100 a month, which is QR 200 of spend. Annual fee QR 400, waived at QR 60,000 of annual spend.
