Corrected: the old entry carried the no-fee CIBC Dividend Visa's terms (2% groceries, 1% gas, dining and transit, 0.5% elsewhere), read from that card's page. CIBC's own Dividend Platinum page pays 3% on groceries, gas and EV charging, 2% on transit, dining, recurring payments and CIBC by Expedia, 1% elsewhere. $99 a year, rebated in the first year. The 3% and 2% stop at $20,000 a year in those categories or $30,000 of all card purchases, whichever comes first; each rule carries the $20,000 and the $30,000 is in the notes. CIBC's page publishes no foreign transaction fee. Source: cibc.com Dividend Platinum Visa page and its dividend-multipliers-platinum terms, read 28 Oct 2026.

Knowing the rate is not the same as remembering it
PayperWIZ holds the cards you actually own and names the right one at the till — after the cap you have already used this month, and after the foreign-currency fee. Every rate in it says where it came from, the way this page does: read off the issuer and dated, or marked indicative.
