The highest single rate in this library, and the only one whose ceiling is not a number. Axis caps the 25% at twice the base cashback earned in the same statement month, and the base is 1% of everything else you put on the card — so the 25% keeps paying until your Airtel bills reach about 8% of your other spending on this card, and stops there. Axis's own value chart works the arithmetic: ₹20,000 of Airtel bills against ₹1.9 lakh of other spend pays ₹3,800, not the ₹5,000 the headline implies. This app can hold a fixed ceiling and not one that moves with your spending. The ceilings below are Axis's own worked example turned into a month — ₹3,800 and ₹1,900 a year become ₹317 and ₹158 — so they are the issuer's arithmetic for the issuer's assumed customer rather than a number from anywhere else. Spend more than ₹1.9 lakh a year outside these categories and your real ceiling is higher than what this app shows; spend less and it is lower. They were written as no ceiling at all first, and the publisher refused the whole card: an uncapped 25% is exactly the shape of claim this project exists to distrust, including when it makes the claim itself. Both accelerated rates require paying through the Airtel Thanks app, which this app cannot detect for you — the same bill paid anywhere else earns the 1% base. Fuel earns no cashback at all. Fee ₹500 to join and ₹500 a year, waived above ₹2,00,000 of annual spend, which excludes rent (MCC 6513) and wallet loads (MCC 6540). Source: axisbank.com product page, checked 20 Sep 2026.
