everything else1.00%—10 EDGE REWARD Points per ₹200, at home and abroad alike, which is 1% once the point is priced.
fuelNone—Fuel earns no points. The 1% surcharge waiver still applies between ₹400 and ₹4,000, up to ₹400 a statement.
rent and propertyNone—Rent earns no points.
governmentNone—Utilities and government merchant codes earn no points.
phone and internetNone—Telecom earns no points — Axis excludes utilities and telecom together.
educationNone—Educational services earn no points.
One rate, 10 EDGE REWARD Points per ₹200, which is 1% at Axis's own point value — and a long list of things that earn none of it: insurance, rent, fuel, educational services, utilities, government merchant codes, wallet loads, gold and jewellery, gift cards, bridge fees and road tolls. Anything converted to EMI has its points taken back, and cancelling the EMI does not return them. The same exclusion list decides the fee waiver, so the ₹5 lakh that reverses the ₹1,500 has to be ₹5 lakh of the right kind of spending. Both fees are currently nil on a limited-period offer; the standard fee is recorded here because a limited period ends and an annual fee that reappears is not something this app should let somebody be surprised by. Two more confirmations of the ₹0.20 point value sit on this page: 12,500 points described as worth ₹2,500, and 10,000 described as worth ₹2,000.
