Two things on this card contradict IDFC's own site and one of them is dated. Its page body says no foreign markup; its page TITLE says Low Forex, and the range listing says 1% Forex for Ashva beside Zero Forex for every other metal card. A per-card distinction repeated in the navigation beats a marketing block, so 1% is what is recorded, and if that is wrong the card is understated abroad rather than oversold. Separately, IDFC states that from 26 October 2026 international spending drops from five times the base rate to two — a devaluation published in a footnote, on a card sold partly on travel. The structure: five times on spending up to ₹20,000 in a statement cycle and ten times past it, which this app cannot express, so it holds the five. Three times on rent, education, government and wallet loads; one times on insurance, utilities, railways and FASTag. Hotels booked in IDFC's own app add thirty times on top, flights fifteen. A Reward Point is ₹0.25 in cash and ₹0.40 against a hotel or flight booked in that app — this entry uses the ₹0.25, because the higher figure requires both a redemption channel and a trip. These points never expire, unlike the rest of the range, which is why the card names no programme. ₹2,999 to join and ₹2,999 a year. The metal card pages do not repeat the fuel exclusion the rest of the range carries, so fuel here reads at the base rate and may be overstated. Source: idfcfirst.bank.in, checked 20 Sep 2026.
