Lifetime free, and the best card in this catalogue for spending abroad: zero foreign markup, and international purchases earn the 10X rate rather than the base. Nothing in this app's abroad figure shows that second half — it reads the general rate — so the card is understated overseas by about three times. At home it is 1.25% on dining and travel, 0.375% on most other things, and 0.125% on utilities, insurance, railway spending and FASTag recharges. Fuel, EMI conversions and cash withdrawals earn nothing. Railway and FASTag are the awkward pair: they sit inside travel here and earn a tenth of what travel earns, and they are not written as a separate rule because a rule that low would pull every travel figure on the card down with it. Points expire 24 months after they are credited, and redeeming costs ₹99 plus GST, which is worth more than a small balance. Points stop accruing on spending past your credit limit in a cycle.
