Amex UK tiers cashback on annual spend, not per purchase: "0.75% Cashback" on "spend up to £10,000" in a Cardmembership year and "1.25% Cashback" above it. The lower tier is pre-filled, because most holders never reach £10,000 — raise it yourself if you reliably do. Costco and other warehouse retailers pay 0.5% whatever tier you are on, which is the detail that makes a big trolley worth less than it looks. Amex states no cap: "no cap on how much cashback you could earn in a year". A 5% introductory rate runs for the first three months, capped at £125, and this app cannot time-limit that for you.
