SpendingRateMonthly cap
travel1.00%—Flights, trains, car hire, ferries, buses, hotels, travel agents, cruises and campsites.
everything else0.10%—Everything else.
The travel rate is the real one: 1% back on "planes, trains, car rental, ferries, buses, hotel accommodation, travel agents, cruises, campsites and more", with no foreign transaction fee on purchases abroad — which on a fortnight overseas is usually worth more than the rewards. Everything else pays 0.1%, and that is the number to judge the card on. NatWest also advertises "1% to 15% at chosen partner retailers" through personalised offers; that is a rotating range on a list you do not choose, so it is described here and not priced, because a card cannot be recommended on a rate nobody can count on. No annual fee. Source: natwest.com Travel Rewards credit card page, checked 14 Sep 2026.
